VMI Monitoring

VMI facilitates easy set up for your sequential valve gated applications.

Having VMI installed allows you to safely check that your valve pins are moving as intended without the need for physi­cal assessment and also provide measured indivi­dual pin movement data. The main module can be used on multiple tools.

The "Digital Cockpit" for injection molds.

Injection molds have their own memory. High shot volumes, long operating periods, operating errors, downtimes and repairs – they all leave traces behind. The process data and events actually generated in the mold provides information about what has happened. This relevant process data is captured by moldMIND  in real time and a tamper-proof record of the data.

activeGate® molding uses sensor, microprocessor, digital and control valve technologies to precisely control the flow of melt within the mold. These technologies provide independent melt flow control at the point of melt entry of each hot runner gate and monitoring of process conditions within the mold.

activeGate® technologies are designed to facilitate perfect surface quality, dimensional stability and reproducibility of injected molded parts and are ideally suited for:

  • Single cavity molds for complex part geometries
  • Multi-cavity molds for precision and consistency in higher cavitation
  • Modular molds for different cavities in the mold base and modular tool inserts

Synflow: Leading the Drive

The third generation of the field-proven Synflow control software allows control of the pin opening movement individually at each hot runner nozzle.  The large number of setting parameters offer every opportunity for molding optimization especially for sequential injection molding and family molds.

Dynamic Feed: Closed-Loop Pressure Control

Dynamic Feed controls the volume flow and the melt pressure in the gate area of the hot runner nozzles. The predefined injection and pressure parameters for each gate can be precisely maintained by feedback from the pressure sensors to melt control valves in the hot runner using the intelligent Dynamic Feed software.
