 New Hot Sprue Bushings from Synventive Ideal for
Single-Cavity Molding of Medium-Sized Parts

Peabody, MA (June 17, 2013) . . . Synventive Molding Solutions, a global leader in hot runner system solutions, has introduced two new hot sprue bushings that are designed for single-cavity molding of medium-sized parts. 

The new Synventive 06s and 09s hot sprue bushings feature internal flow bores of 6mm and 9mm, respectively, and are suitable for use with all thermoplastic resins.  They are ideal for applications for parts weighing from 25 to 250 grams.  They feature a slimmer profile for easier mold fit, a broader application range, and improved temperature uniformity due to a new and improved heater design.

Both the 06s and 09s are available with five different thermal gate styles to suit the specific application.  They can gate directly into the part or into a sub-runner that leads to the part cavity.

These new hot sprue bushings are externally heated and feature an easily replaceable heater and thermocouple design.  The 06s is available in mold lengths ranging from 60-200mm, and the 09s features mold lengths from 60-400mm.
